Developmental Support
Children develop at their own pace!
While there are typical developmental milestones that help families see if their child is on track, each child develops at their own pace.
We regularly assess our children using progress reports, allowing families to schedule time to have a family/educator conference to discuss any concerns or questions they may have.
If our families have any concerns and it's not a progress report time, we have an open-door policy and can schedule a meeting as soon as possible!

What is Early Intervention?
Early Intervention is FREE!
Early Intervention is a set of services for children birth through age 3 to receive visits from developmental specialists regularly to work with the child, their family, and their educators to ensure the child has everything they need to succeed as they prepare for preschool. Early Intervention is COVERED by your health insurance!
We highly recommend ALL of our families to have their children screened at least once through Early Intervention. Not only does having Early Intervention services allow your child a play partner regularly giving them one on one time, but it can be a great tool to navigate development and parenting in all one!
Here are some reasons we refer families to Early Intervention:
-Colic/Excessive Gas in infants
-Developmental Delays
-Separation Anxiety
-Feeding Concerns
-Behavioral Challenges
There are 2 local Early Intervention Services in the area.
Many of our clients have services through Mentor South Bay.
The other local Early Intervention service is BAMSI.
If you would like help obtaining services for your child(ren), please let us know!
After age 3, children must be assessed through their local public school system. If you need help with this process, please let us know!
